About HeartFelt Consulting

HeartFelt Consulting helps organizations understand what matters, count what counts, and put evidence to work.

Founded by Laurel Felt, PhD, the consultancy draws on experience spanning academia, education, media, philanthropy, and international development. Projects have included research design, data analysis, theory and measurement development, curriculum and training support, strategic communication, and the translation of research findings into practical tools for decision-makers and practitioners.

Laurel served as Research Director at RAES, where she provided scientific and methodological leadership for social and behavioral research in West Africa and helped to establish Oasis Research & Training Center.

Do no harm.

Research, communication, and strategy should respect the dignity, autonomy, and wellbeing of the people they affect.

Make the most of what we've got.

Good work does not depend on unlimited budgets, perfect data, or ideal conditions. It begins by recognizing existing strengths and building from them.

Leave it better than we found it.

Whether developing a framework, conducting a study, strengthening a team, or supporting a partner organization, the goal is to create something that remains useful long after the project ends.
